Who Makes Them

Two People, Every Row, Every Barrel

Anele makes the wine and Johan farms the vines, so the person tasting the grapes in February is the person topping the barrels in winter. The slopes catch the cool air off the ravine: the whites keep their line and the reds take their time.

We pick the old Chenin by taste, not by the calendar. Some years that means three passes through the same block.
