Nomvula Zulu started Mooi Bakes in her own kitchen, baking bread and cakes for neighbours and friends. The orders kept coming, and the kitchen became a small bakery in Vredehoek, under the mountain.
Everything is still baked early each morning for the people who come through the door: local families, office workers on their way in, and anyone ordering a cake for a big day.
